Marketing is a broad term that refers to activities a company undertakes to promote the buying or selling of a product, service, or brand. It includes the coordination of four elements known as the 4 Ps of marketing: product, price, place, and promotion. Marketing practices aim to identify the needs and wants of customers, develop products that satisfy those needs, determine the price consumers are willing to pay, decide where the products will be sold, and promote them effectively.
